I love design. In fact, I even put up another blog ages ago just to compile all the design finds I discover on the Internet. Unfortunately, I rarely get to update it because of a million and one things. Anyway, I figured now is a good time to refresh my design cravings with these cute and absolutely free printable Save the Date cards: (click on the images to go to the download page)
Here’s one from Merriment Design – Inspired by the book The Giving Tree
From The Pretty Blog – handy bookmarks
From Ruffled – Envelope and Card – cute!
From the Wedding Chicks – I love ampersands
From Minted – This one is not free but absolutely a fave!!! 🙂
Craving-> fixed! Don’t forget to leave a little love if you do download. Enjoy!
My parents recently had their golden wedding anniversary in Davao. Yep…it’s been 50 years since my folks tied the knot. Typical bridal gowns for this occasion would be white with streaks of gold. Mom had a gold gown made with other accent colors. All of her entourage had similar gowns as well. Didn’t really notice this until folks kept telling us how beautiful the gowns were. Gold is indeed a majestic color for a bride walking the aisle.
I remember that in my own wedding, Tes and I had gold suits. People usually choose white as a symbol of purity. For us, we thought white spoke more of naiveté and innocence. So we chose gold because it spoke of our faith as a couple tested and refined by fire. I look forward to the day when Tes and I would once more walk down the aisle in suits of gold.
