Rean here…

Recently, we had a costume rack installed in one of our ballet studios. The peculiarity of this rack is that it sits on top of an existing closet. The high probably requires a portable aluminum gantry crane. While it may seem odd,I consider it a wise decision. It is important to have costumes in the studio for easy access and for motivating students that their hard work results in performance. The position choice is the natural consequence of prioritizing our mission to train world class dancers that exhibit Godly character.

In the past few days we have been revisiting our spending as a family. God has been dealing with us as far us being better stewards of the finances he gives us. It’s easy to loose track of your spending when all you pull out of your wallet are plastic cards. Lately we have been doing the physical act of sorting out our money. It is a very rewarding and empowering experience.

I’m thinking of a blog redesign real soon. Tested my site’s validity. Lots to improve on so expect a lot of changes here. Stay tuned!

The value of money is one thing we constantly have to learn in our life’s journey. A lot of times we are assumed to have learned this as we grow up. Its not really a topic we talk about commonly in our Basic or Secondary Education. Financial intelligence is something, each of us have to diligently seek. Moreover, this has to be passed on to the generation after us. Is it really wise to give out debit cards for teenagers? If they are trained well then why not. In the end the question is whether or not we parents are also faithful with our money?

A couple of weeks ago, our favorite radio station 98.7 DZFE went off the air (at least in our area). I was so glad to have heard it again a few days ago. This is the only Classical station in the area. One of my favorite programs is Classical Guitar where I listen to highly skilled guitarists from all over the world. Another one is Crossover where you hear musicians who cross over between Classical and Jazz. It’s not surprising to hear a Bach piece on a gibson es-330 td review on this program. It makes one think of the possibilities true artistic music can give.

Been thinking lately… It would be time for us to have our own house. This is considering the fact that the neighborhood we live in appears to be slowly deteriorating in terms of security. The easy way to have our own abode would be to buy a house and lot. But then, we would be limited to “cookie cutter” features of the developer. We would like to have an energy efficient home, with a nice relaxing atmosphere. We would like it to be minimalist and functional. A place were we can sit on rustic tables, enjoy a breeze and behold the splendor of Mt. Makiling and The Tagaytay ridge.

Today I was thinking about how Tes and I would spend our 14th anniversary. I was thinking of driving to Batangas city and spending the night at Hotel Pontefino, just the two of us. We can have a romantic dinner, lounge around the pool or perhaps have a soothing massage. We can also have cup of tea and Tes can enjoy confectionary anniversary gifts she’ll love. Ummm…Cheesecake and Dipped Berries!

Rean…Met some parents of our Ballet students as I was on the way to pick up my son. In the conversation, I got to mention how God changed the heart of my parents 14 years ago. I was engaged to my best friend and we were about to get married. My parents refused to give their blessing. My fiancee and I prayed about it after which we decided to postpone our wedding. We also decided to fly to Brunei to meet my parents. It was amazing that God turned their hearts around after this act. God desires for us to honor our parents when we get married. A valuable thought for before you exchange Scott Kay bands.
